Seville Airport’s official name is Aeropuerto de Sevilla-San Pablo, so people refer to it as “San Pablo” to make it shorter. The IATA airport code for Seville is SVQ.
It’s located 10 km (6.2 mi) northeast of the city center and it handles 6+ million people per year. In addition to this, almost 20 airlines operate here and more than 80 routes are served.
The Seville airport was renovated recently and it offers a good range of services for its medium size. Obviously, its main advantage is that delays happen less often than in major hubs (don’t think your flight will be always on time though…). And your baggage is delivered pretty fast.

Getting to Sevilla Airport
If you’re taking public transportation, you can get here by bus (line EA; but about 25 minutes from Santa Justa train station) or taxi.

How to go from Seville Airport to Santa Justa
The airport is very well connected with Santa Justa train station.
If you need to go from Seville Airport to Santa Justa, you only have two options:
- You can catch the bus line EA (Especial Aeropuerto) running from 4:00 to 1:30 all year round with only several stops on the route. The bus stop is located at the Terminal level 0, on the Arrivals sidewalk.
- Or you can take a cab. Unfortunately, taxi drivers in Seville have in general a very bad reputation. I definitely don’t recommend them.
Sevilla Airport services
As any medium-sized the airport in Seville offers an extensive range of services. Here is a list of the most useful ones.
- Car rental companies. Avis/Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, Goldcar Rental, Hertz, and Sixt have desks.
- Parking. There are low cost, long stay and regular car parks. You can book online a spot.
- Shops and Duty Free. If you’re interested in a particular shop, search for it.
- Eating. The airport has a wide range of restaurants and cafeterias.
- ATMs. There are a couple of ATMs at the Seville Airport, but no currency exchange offices. Don’t forget to bring your travel money card with you!
- VIP lounge. There is a VIP lounge at the airport. It’s quiet, the chairs are comfortable, and there’s tea, coffee, cookies, and blankets. The reclining chairs are great for napping. A perfect solution for long-haul flights!
- Wi-Fi. There is a free Wi-Fi service offered by Aena when you connect to the ‘AIRPORT FREE WIFI AENA’ network. You can register via email, Facebook or LinkedIn. The login is quick, does not require codes, and gives you the option to register multiple devices.
- Police. The National Police office is located at floor 1 in the departures hall. The Guardia Civil office is at floor 0 in the baggage reclaim lounge.
Unfortunately, there is no left luggage office.
Seville Airport hotels
The airport remains closed at night, all year round, from 1:30 to 4:30.
If you have an early morning flight, where you stay the night before makes a huge difference in your day. Or, if you have a late arrival, you might like to stay at the airport for a night instead of trying to figure out trains the moment you touch down. Airport hotels are usually perfect for times like this.
