Coraline is based on Neil Gaiman’s international best-selling book and is helmed by stop-frame animation freak Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas).
A young girl (voiced by Dakota Fanning) walks through a secret door in her new home and discovers an alternate version of her life. On the surface, this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life - only way better. But when this wondrously off-kilter adventure turns dangerous, and her counterfeit other mother (voiced by Teri Hatcher) tries to keep her forever, Coraline must count on her stubborn determination and the aid of her talking black cat to get back home.
'Coraline' is on Max, Amazon Prime Video with Max, and DirecTV in the U.S., but it's also on ITVX for free in the U.K., Netflix Canada and Japan, and Binge and Foxtel in Australia. You can use a VPN to access streaming services and libraries from abroad.
From the director of The Nightmare Before Christmas comes a visually stunning stop-motion animated feature about Coraline Jones who finds a secret world that's just like her own...but better!
Why Coraline Isn't Available in My Netflix Library? The lingering issue that the majority of people have is that Coraline isn't available in their library. However, we can come up with a simple, yet legit explanation that lies in streaming rights and licensing, as it's always the case with this type of content.
Coraline is an 11-year-old girl (see image here) who lives with her loving but inattentive parents. Similar to the children in C.S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia or L.
Coraline, a fantasy movie starring Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher, and Jennifer Saunders is available to stream now. Watch it on ReDiscover Television, Prime Video, Fandango at Home, Redbox. or Apple TV on your Roku device.
You now know how to watch Coraline on Netflix and that the movie is available in the Canadian catalog. The movie can also be found in the Japanese library but people usually go for the Canadian library as it's easier to unblock.
