The Dunes is a sandy planet where Riddick: The Merc Files takes place. The planet is heavily industrialized, there are bases, mines, scrapyards. Although everything seems abandoned, since no civilians are around, someone must take care of the equipment, since electricity is on, and all the machines are still working. Richard B. Riddick is hunted by mercenaries there, who arrived by a ship.
