A Credit Suisse private banking veteran known for covering the non-resident Indian and Indian subcontinent region is leaving, Citywire Asia has learned.

The private banking vice chairman and strategic client lead at Credit Suisse is leaving, Citywire Asia can confirm.
Balakrishnan Kunnambath isdeparting the bank after more than eight years, where he held various positions including market group head for the Indian subcontinent and non-resident Indian Asia Pacific diaspora.
Kunnambath joined the Swiss private bank in Singapore in 2015 as market group head with the mandate to oversee the private banking business in India offshore, as well as onshore. In 2022 he moved to the role of vice chairman and strategic client lead focusing on ultra high net worth segment for Southeast Asia and India.
