When you are playing GTA Online, it’s important to be fast. Whether you are trying to outrun the cops or other players, you’ll want to know which GTA vehicle you should be chasing if you want everyone else to be chasing your dust.
How To Get The Fastest Car in GTA Online

Grotti Itali RSX
Which super car in GTA gets the title of “fastest car” is certainly a topic for debate (especially if you only care about the MPH / KPH you can hit going in a straight line) however, for this honor, we decided to go with the fastest overall car. This includes top base speed, acceleration, braking, and traction.
This means the car that is competitive at the highest levels, regardless of the situation. In 2020, we went with the Principe Deveste Eight, but with top rankings in lap times, top speeds, and handling that can compete with anything else out there, this year the title goes to the Grotti Itali RSX.
While other cars like the Pariah may be able to beat it on the straightaway, the Itali RSX's overall handling gives it the slightest edge over its competition. The only downside to the Itali RSX is the price. At a whopping $3,465,000 it is one of the most expensive cars available at Legendary Motorsport.
Other Fast Cars in GTA Online
Ocelot Pariah
By most accounts, the Pariah is considered to be the fastest car in GTA Online but falls just a little short when compared overall to the RSX. While the Deveste and the 811 are classified as "Super Cars," the Ocelot Pariah is a "Sports Car," meaning you'll be able to take it anywhere you want to go. Trick it out and there's no standard car that will be able to compete. You can pick it up for $1,420,000 at Legendary Motorsport.
Principe Deveste Eight
The Principe Deveste Eight has better handling than virtually any other sports car in its class, making it one of the most well-rounded ultra-fast cars. The Deveste Eight occasionally appears as the top reward on the Diamond Casino Lucky Wheel, if you want to try your 1/20 odds of winning this beast for free. Otherwise, you’ll need to head over to Legendary Motorsport and spend $1,795,000 to pick one up for yourself.

Pfister 811
Arguably tied with the Deveste Eight, the Pfister 811 is faster on the straightaway (even if the stat sheet doesn't reflect that). Unfortunately, it suffers slightly when it comes to acceleration and handling, meaning it lands in the "runner-up" position. On the other hand, it is significantly less expensive than the Deveste, so feel free to pick up your own 811 at Legendary Motorsport for $1,135,000.
Bravado Banshee 900R
The Banshee 900R has been a staple of GTA Online since 2016. It is a modified version of the base Banshee which means you need to purchase the Banshee before you can get the 900R. Once you have the Banshee, take it to Benny's Original Motor Work and upgrade it. You can purchase the Banshee at Legendary Motorsport for $105,000. The upgrades will cost you around $600,00 thereby making the Banshee 900R one of the most affordable top 10 fast sports cars around.
Karin Calico GTF
Introduced in the Los Santos Tuners update, the Calico GTF is a surprise pick as its base stats tell a different story about this car's performance. However, the trick to a super-fast Calico is all in the upgrades. Add low-grip tires and lower the stance, and the Calico can compete with any of the fast supercars and sports cars listed here. You can pick up this car for $1,995,000 at Southern San Andreas Super Autos.
