On Enterprise editions of MS Windows, FFXIV: ARR will not start-up when trying to launch the game directly from the Steam Library.
1. Close and completely exit the Steam Client
2. Right click on the Steam’s desktop icon.
3. Select ‘Properties’
4. Go to the ‘Compatibility’ menu tab
5. Check the “Run this program as an administrator” in the ‘Privilege Level’ category
6. Click “Apply” and “OK” to close the Properties menu
7. Start the Steam Client and launch FFXIV:ARR by clicking the “Play” button in your games’ library.
