Is the Flamebreaker Armor enough? ›

You only need two pieces of the Flamebreaker Armor Set to comfortably explore Death Mountain's hottest caves and lava areas, but wearing all three pieces and upgrading them twice does give you the Flameproof set bonus.

To scale Death Mountain and survive Breath of the Wild's harshest heat, players need to buy and upgrade the full Flamebreaker Set.
