Before you offer feeder mice to your snake, it's important to make sure you've chosen the right size. Ultimately, the size of the mouse you need depends on the size of the snake you are feeding. When selecting the appropriate sized prey item for your snake, start by choosing the size that shares the same circumference as the thickest part of the snake’s body.

Pinky Mice
Extra-Small Pinky Mice are generally 1 day old and range in weight from 1.50-1.99 grams. They are called pinkies because they appear pink in color, as they have not formed a coat of fur yet
Small Pinky Mice are generally 1-2 days old and range in weight from 2.00-2.49 grams. They are called pinkies because they appear pink in color, as they have not formed a coat of fur yet.
Large Pinky Mice are generally 3-4 days old and vary in size from 0.50”- 1.00” long, not including tail length and weigh 2.50-2.99 grams. They are called pinkies because they appear pink in color, as they have not formed a coat of fur yet. This is the last stage a mouse is considered a neonatal mouse before being considered a juvenile.
Fuzzy Mice
Peach Fuzzy Mice, sometimes known as small fuzzies, are generally 5-9 days of age and range in weight from 3.00-4.49 grams. They may be starting to develop a slight coat of white or dark fur. These would be the perfect size for those animals in which the pinkies are too small, but the regular fuzzies are too large.
Fuzzy Mice, sometimes known as large fuzzies, are generally 10-13 days of age and range in weight from 4.50-6.99 grams. At this stage they have not opened their eyes yet, but have developed a coat of fur and are available with white fur, dark fur or without fur.
Subadult Mice
Small Mice, sometimes known as hoppers, are generally 14-19 days old and range in weight from 7.00-12.99 grams. They have fully opened their eyes and are starting to eat and drink on their own and are available with white fur, dark fur or without fur.
Medium Mice, sometimes known as weanlings, are generally 20-24 days old and range in weight from 13.00-17.99 grams. They are capable of eating and drinking on their own and are available with white fur, dark fur or without fur.
Adult Mice
Large Mice, sometimes known as adults, are generally 25-30 days old and range in weight from18.00-29.99 grams. At this stage they have reached sexual maturity and are available with white fur, dark fur or without fur.
Extra-Large Mice, sometimes known as retired breeders, are generally 5-6 months old and range in weight from 30.00-45.00+ grams. At this stage they are the largest mice we offer and are available with white fur, dark fur or without fur.
