Is HBO Max still free with Amazon Prime? ›

Prime Video has added Max to its lineup of channels which includes Paramount+, Starz, BET+, AMC+, Discovery+ and other streamers that you can add to your subscription. Max is available ad-free for $15.99/month but Prime Video is not currently offering a free trial to Max (you can however enjoy a free trial to Prime).

Max has three tiers of pricing: a cheaper ad-supported plan that discounts the price of a Max subscription to just $9.99 a month, an ad-free plan for $15.99 each month, and an “Ultimate Ad-Free” plan for $19.99 a month. The annual ad-supported plan saves you up to 45% off Max if you prepay for all 12 months of service.

Prime customers can sign up for HBO Max for $14.99 per month. Subscribers will have access to 15,000 hours of curated premium content.

The Hulu + Max bundle gives you the ultimate entertainment experience. On the Hulu front, you get a constant stream of lighthearted comedies, hard-hitting documentaries, and the occasional prestige drama, while on the Max front, you get a bundle within a bundle: HBO hits, Discovery documentaries, Warner Bros.

While HBO Max itself doesn't offer a free trial, you can still try out the service through Amazon Prime Video's HBO Max free trial.

What's The Difference Between Max and HBO Max? With Max, in addition to all your HBO Max content, you'll get a wealth of real-world shows in a wide range of genres, including reality, lifestyle, food, true crime, and more.

How to subscribe to MAX with Prime Video. MAX is also available with Prime Video starting at $15.99 per month for its ad-free plan. MAX with Prime Video also offers a seven-day free trial. Prime Video offers a 30-day free trial and costs $8.99 per month after the free trial ends.

Max is a streaming service that focuses on quality over quantity, with a price tag to match. It's is a great pick for anyone with deep pockets and a discerning eye, but those on a tight budget might want to look elsewhere. Max is best for: Streamers who like HBO's prestige TV shows like "The Wire" or "Chernobyl"

AT&T Unlimited Elite is the only AT&T Wireless plan to include Max (formerly HBO Max). Some AT&T Internet subscribers may also have Max through their Internet plan, but that is also no longer offered. AT&T Unlimited Premium and AT&T Unlimited Premium PL do not include access to Max.

Max has a robust free episode library that includes episodes of acclaimed series like "Succession," "House of the Dragon," 90 Day Fiance" and more. You can access this content at any time at the official Max Watch for Free site, no login necessary.

Is there a free trial? Most HBO Max providers do not offer a free trial to new subscribers. If a subscription or promotional offer includes a free trial, you'll see mention of the free trial when you sign up. During a free trial, you can stream anything on HBO Max.

Prime Video Channels is the Prime benefit that lets you choose your channels. Only members can add Max and 100+ more channels — no cable required.

It's unclear how that might change the 7-day free trial for HBO Max and Prime members, so it's not a bad idea to take advantage of the offer while you can.

Although its 8.0 rating is neck-and-neck with Prime Video, Max consistently drops new releases, possesses a large back catalog and offers smooth, user-friendly features.
