There are many ways you can get paid if you’re creating content for Tik Tok.
As a small creator, what they’d call a microinfluencer, I’m going to unveil exactly how much I make from Tik Tok with 30K followers.
Let’s get to it!
Many income streams can be tapped into as a Tik Tok content creator. Tik Tok does actually pay you with one of them, called the Tik Tok Creator Fund.
How much from the Tik Tok Creator Fund?
With the Creator Fund, you make money based on the number of views your videos on Tik Tok receive. The more views you get, the more money you make.
Compared to other platforms that pay a CPM to creators, Tik Tok is on the low end of the totem pole, paying around 3 cents to 5 cents per 1,000 views on your videos.
That means, if you were earning 4 cents per 1,000 views and received 10 million views for the month, you’d make $400.
Those are small potatoes, trust me.
On YouTube, if you had a $10 CPM, 10 million views for the month would fetch you $100,000!
And YouTube creators with views like that make that income.
I share all this to say, I don’t get paid from the Tik Tok Creator Fund and it’s by choice.
Is it giving up an income stream?
Yes.
Is it saying bye to free money?
Yes.
Is this smart??
You be the judge.
How much would I have made from the Creator Fund last month?
