How to Load a GIF in Android (2024)

Android smartphones have a built-in image viewing application called Gallery. When you connect your Android smartphone to your computer and transfer a GIF file to your phone's storage area, you can open the Gallery appliation and view that GIF file. The gallery application is capable of loading the GIF, and allows you to use the multitouch screen and pinch-to-zoom to zoom in and out of the GIF image.

    Plug your Android smartphone into your PC with a USB cord.

    Tap the "USB Storage ON" button on your Android phone to enable storage disk mode.

    Open the "Computer" application in Windows and copy your GIF image file to your Android smartphone's storage disk.

    Disconnect your Android smartphone and allow 5-10 seconds for your Android smartphone's storage to remount itself.
