iOS configuration profiles can include data, settings, and apps. They are also used for Apple’s developer and public beta programs.
If you want to uninstall an iOS public beta profile from your iPad or iPhone, one of the easiest ways is to follow the steps below and restart your device. Then look for the next available public software update and install it (Settings → General → Software Update). If you want to uninstall an iOS beta immediately, read more about that here.
Note: If you have a managed device from a business or institution with an iOS configuration profile, you may not be able to remove it.
Go to Settings > General > Profiles or Profiles & Device Management,* then tap the app's configuration profile.Then tap Delete Profile.If asked, enter your device passcode, then tap Delete.
You can see the profiles you have installed in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. If you delete a profile, all of the settings, apps, and data associated with the profile are also deleted.
Select the devices or Blueprints in the device window, then do one of the following: Choose Actions > Remove > Profiles. Control-click the selected devices or Blueprints, and choose Remove > Profiles.
Reconfirm that you want to remove the profiles, then click Remove.
To remove network settings installed by MDM, go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, select the management, then tap Remove Management. This also removes other settings and certificates provided by MDM.
Select the Advanced System settings link. In the dialog that opens, select Settings in the User Profiles section. In the next dialog, there is a list of profiles on the system. Select the profile that you want to remove and select Delete.
Factory reset: You can reset a Cisco router or switch to its factory default configuration by using the “write erase” command followed by the “reload” command. This will delete the startup-config and running-config files and reset the device to its default configuration.
Boot the Mac into Recovery Mode (hold down command+R during startup). Go to the Utilities menu and open Terminal and type: csrutil disable . This will disable SIP (System Integrity Protection). Reboot into the OS.
The supervised mode can be removed by resetting/wiping the device to factory settings (Erase all content and settings) if the supervised mode was enabled using Apple Configurator.
Open Settings, and go to General > VPN & Device Management.Choose the supervision profile and on the next screen, tap on Remove Management. Enter the account name and passcode to complete the process.
