The Microsoft Office Clipboard is a pane that holds up to 24 of your copied items for pasting between Office programs. With this feature, you can copy text from a Word document and paste to an Excel worksheet to avoid retyping the data. Navigate the command ribbon and set the options to program the keyboard shortcut on your United States keyboard layout. Viewing the Clipboard items will help you organize your content for your communications and support data.
Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Open Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint or Word and click the “Home” tab on the command ribbon.

Click the “Dialog Box Launcher” button in the Clipboard group to open the Clipboard pane. This diagonal arrow button is in the lower corner of the Clipboard group.

Click the “Options” button at the bottom of the Clipboard pane to open the list of options, and then click “Show Office Clipboard When Ctrl+C Pressed Twice.”

Click the “X” or “Close” button on the task pane to close the Clipboard.

Click outside your document in the margin or status bar. Press “Ctrl-C” twice to display the Clipboard pane.
Publisher and SharePoint Designer

Open the Publisher or SharePoint Designer program and click the “Edit” tab.

Click the “Office Clipboard” button to open the pane.

Click the “Options” button at the bottom of the Clipboard pane to open the list of options, and then click “Show Office Clipboard When Ctrl+C Pressed Twice.”

Click the “X” or “Close” button on the task pane to close the Clipboard, and then press “Ctrl-C” twice to test if the Clipboard pane opens.
