Loren Allred is a singer who placed ninth during Series 15 of Britain's Got Talent. She was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania into a musical family and eventually dreams to perform on Broadway. She is a professional singer from Brooklyn which is located in New York in the USA, who provided the vocals to the song "Never Enough" from The Greatest Showman. She was aged 32 at the time of her audition.

When asked why she decided to audition for BGT she stated that most of her favourite singers were from the UK. When asked why she didn't get any kind of big deal after The Greatest Showman she stated that she was 'More comfortable singing behind the scenes', yet now she felt ready to 'Put [her] face to the song'.

In her audition, Allred performed 'Never Enough' from The Greatest Showman. Amanda awarded Loren her Golden Buzzer, sending her directly through to the Semi-Finals. Amanda commented 'I can't believe I've had this incredible opportunity to give you your moment to shine', with Simon adding 'This is so well deserved, because seeing somebody else sing that song in that movie and not have the recognition of doing one of the most incredible moments ever, and now you've just kind of revealed yourself to the world'.

In the Semi-Finals, Allred sang 'You Say' by Lauren Daigle. Simon remarked 'It's both a blessing and a curse when your known for singing one of the biggest songs of all time, and you could have easily taken the easy route which is you know sing that song again because we love it so much', with Alesha adding 'I personally feel like that performance was in a league of its own'. She won the Public Vote and advanced directly onto the Final.

In the Final, Allred sang an original song entitled 'Last Thing I'll Ever Need'. Amanda remarked 'What was wonderful for me to witness tonight was just how much heart and soul and passion and authentic truth poured out of you, because you were singing something that you wrote about somebody you loved', with David adding 'You showed that once again that you are a superstar'.

Her audition was aired after fellow singer Ferdinand Rennie's audition in order to provide a contrast between his version of Never Enough and Loren's original version of the aforementioned song.

Before BGT[]

In 2012, Allred competed on the third Series of the US version of 'The Voice' on Adam Levine's team before she was eliminated in the Top 20.

In 2017, Allred provided the character of Jenny Lind who was portrayed by Swedish actress Rebecca Ferguson’s singing voice in The Greatest Showman.

In 2019, Allred was featured on Michael Bublé’s album entitled ‘Love’ wherein she performed a duet of ‘Help Me Make it Through the Night’ alongside Bublé himself.

In 2021, Allred released her debut EP entitled ‘Late Bloomer’ and joined Andrea Bocceli on select tour dates.

In December 2022, Allred released a new single entitled 'Aren't You Tired (La Di Da)', after having previously been releasing a cover of 'You Say' by Lauren Daigle, and an official version of 'Last Thing I'll Ever Need'.[1]

In January 2023, the World of Color – One for Disney 100 debuted at Disneyland featuring the new original song entitled ‘Start a Wave’ which was written by Grammy-nominated artist Cody Fry and featured vocals from Allred. This was the first ever Disneyland Resort nighttime spectacular to feature Walt Disney Animation Studios and several of the other major brands in their ownership in one show.

In December 2023, Allred was announced as the performer of the theme song ‘No Promises to Keep’ for the video game “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth” at “The Game Awards”, with this event featuring her first performance of the song.[2]

In 2024, Allred competed on ‘America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League’, where she was drafted onto Simon’s Team and advanced onto the Semi-Finals alongside Chapel Hart instead of Ichikawa Koikuchi. She was eliminated in the Semi-Finals after acquiring more votes than Vardanyan Brothers, however less votes than The Pack Drumline. Allred returned during the Finale and performed ‘The Greatest Show’ alongside Brian Justin Crum as Aidan Bryant, Billy and Emily England, Ramadhani Brothers & Sofie Dossi performed.
