American Ninja Warrior 10[]

Because of the age eligibility drop on American Ninja Warrior, Owhadi was able to compete in American Ninja Warrior 10 at the age of 19.Because of his massive experience, Mathis Owhadi was able to dominate the qualifying course in Dallas, blazing through most of the obstacles despite being a first-time competitor in the regular season. He attempted the Mega Wall but barely missed out on scaling it, barely being able to grip one hand on top. However, Owhadi managed to scale the regular 14'6' wall on his one attempt and finished the qualifying course with the 4th fastest time. He was also the first 19 year old to clear a course.

Owhadi also continued his rookie season by finishing the city finals course, qualifying for the national finals in 5th place.

In Stage One, he was the final runner of the first half of the national finals, and became the second-youngest person ever to clear Stage One, with 40.29 seconds left on the clock, the overall third-fastest time of the First Stage. However, he was unable to beat Wingnut Alley of Stage Two. Ultimately, Kid ranked as one of the top rookies of American Ninja Warrior 10, along with Zach Day and R.J. Roman.

American Ninja Warrior 11[]

Owhadi returned to compete in Oklahoma City in American Ninja Warrior 11. He was the the final runner of the night, and was trying to get both the Mega Wall and the Power Tower. He managed to breeze through the first 5 obstacles in just over 70 seconds. When he reached the Warped Wall, he decided to go for the Mega Wall. However, he missed on his first two attempts, thus, losing his spot in the Top 2. However, in shocking disbelief, he missed on his third attempt which resulted in a fail. However, his time was still adequate to advance to the city finals, as he placed 14th overall.

During the city finals, he was the last competitor of the night. He performed exceptionally on the course, completing the course with the second fastest time. He later faced off against Daniel Gil in a Student vs. Master competition on the Power Tower. They were neck-and-neck at first, until Kid pulled through at the end and won against Gil, securing the Safety Pass. Owhadi was the final runner of Stage One and breezed through the course finished with almost 52 seconds left. Owhadi was the 2nd runner in Stage Two and fell on Grim Sweeper when he hit the 2nd sweeper when his knee hit it causing him to not get a good grip and falling. Owhadi cashed in his Safety Pass and finished Stage Two with 11 seconds left. Owhadi got to Stage Three but was taken out on the Ultimate Cliffhanger when he made the jump to the final ledge but he couldn't get to the next ledge and fell.

American Ninja Warrior 12[]

Owhadi returned to compete in American Ninja Warrior 12, now competing under the label "Kid Owhadi". In the fourth and final qualifying episode, his run was shown in a fast forward for the first time. He decided to go for the Mega Wall for the third year in a row, but he failed to complete it again. He ended up finishing with the fourth fastest time.

In the Semifinals, Owhadi was shown as the first runner of Semifinal 1. He made it to the Corkscrew obstacle designed by Josh Norton, who failed in qualifying. He survived on the first drop but on the second drop he spun into the water. It was the first time Owhadi did not advance to the finals. He placed 14th overall.

American Ninja Warrior 13[]

Owhadi returned to compete on American Ninja Warrior 13 and in the first qualifying episode, was shown as the first runner again. He got to Split Decision and chose to take on the Spinning Log for his third obstacle. In a stunning turn of events, he had a misstep and fell at the obstacle. This marked the second time he wouldn't advance to the finals. It also marks the first time ever that he wouldn't even move on to the semifinals or reach the final obstacle of the qualifiers.
