Jennifer’s Body 2 is not outside of the realm of possibility, as star Megan Fox hopes to see a sequel getting made someday. Released in 2009,Jennifer’s Body was written by Diablo Cody and directed by Karyn Kusama. Fox starred in the lead role as Jennifer Check, a demonically possessed high school girl who feeds on her male classmates. The film has developed a strong cult following in the years since its release.
Though there was a graphic novel tie-in,Jennifer’s Body never got a sequel. That’s likely because, as is the case with many horror films, it didn’t exactly light the box office on fire at the time of its initial release. The good news is that the film has only grown in popularity in subsequent years, and new sequels to older films are also becoming more common. Is now the time for horror fans to get Jennifer’s Body 2?
If you ask Megan Fox, the answer to that question is definitely a yes. In a recent interview with the Washington Post, Fox got into the subject of her career, leading to what the actress might end up doing next. Asked point blank if she’d be open to aJennifer’s Body-related project, Fox confirmed that she would be while adding that making a sequel or even a TV series continuation wouldn’t be difficult.

As Fox explained:
I don’t think it’s a hard movie to make a sequel to. I mean, they should make it into a TV series. That would be cool.
Fox also touched on the lackluster response to the film at the time of its release but made it clear how much she personally loves it.
Jennifer’s Body is iconic, and I love that movie. I didn’t want to do that movie an injustice by doing something that was similar but not as good. Critically everyone s— on it. This movie is art, but when it came out, nobody was saying that.
Fox also says she’d be up for making her debut in the MCU or the DCU as she’s been a lifelong fan of superheroes and comic books. In any case, she’s looking to keep busy, and we’ll see her back on the big screen soon enough.
