Riot

Note: This mission will become available once you beat Cut Throat Business and both of the Sweet missions. It's also a good idea to take over some gang territory before beginning. In order to get the last mission in the game to show up, you'll need to control 35% of the territories.

When you trigger this mission (at CJ's mansion), you'll see a cut scene in which Tenpenny is freed of all charges related to his dirty dealings. This creates a riot situation on the streets of Los Santos. You've got to head to Grove Street and lock down the hood. Go outside and grab a ride.

Once inside, drive toward the yellow blip on the map. Try to steer clear of the carnage going on in the streets by staying to the freeways as much as possible. If you go on city streets, you run the risk of getting caught up in the mayhem--robberies, exploding cars, people running everywhere--so try to avoid that as much as possible. When you get to the hood, pull up to the red marker to finish the level. Go save inside before heading to the red marker to begin the next mission.

Los Desperados

Amidst a heated discussion with Sweet, Cesar busts in and says that he needs some help in his own neck of the woods. He needs you to recruit a couple of your own boys for the job, since his own homies are a little depleted. Head outside to target and recruit two of your own guys. Get in a four door car with Cesar and your two guys and head over to the yellow blip, trying to stick to green areas of the map on the trip. Drive over to the red light on the ground to trigger the cut scene.

From here, you have to battle through the neighborhood to get to Cesar's house. On the way, plenty of blood will be shed, so lock and load! Follow Cesar as he walks, and watch your mini-map. The Vagos targets will appear there, so keep an eye on where the next wave is coming from and blaze. As always, dual SMGs or the AK are good weapons to get through these groupings.

Make sure you scarf up all weapons and loot that the Vagos drop as you make your way between the houses. When you're torched them all, Cesar will move to the alleyway. Follow him and step on the red marker to trigger a mini cut scene. You now have to battle through the viper's nest of baddies in this alley. Things like grenades will really help your cause here.

When you see one of your homies go down, prepare for a big onslaught. Vagos will pour over the fence, so stay low and spray. After this wave, turn around and whack the guys behind. When they die, you'll see yet another cut scene with several Vagos on the rooftop. These guys are strapped with Flamethrowers and Grenades, so don't waste any time... and don't get closer. Waste them from where you stand, using manual aim if need be to reach them. When the last of them go down, the mission will end.

Note: In order to trigger the final mission, you will have to control a big chunk of gang territory--35%. If you haven't done this, do it now. When you do, you'll get a call from Sweet, and the S will reappear. Head over there to finish the core story missions.

End of the Line

Make your way back to the hood, where you'll see that old familiar S on Grove Street. It's time to end the violence... with more violence. This last mission will eliminate the final enemy of the Grove Street Family. When the cut scene concludes, get in the car with Sweet. As always, drive to the yello blip on the mini-map to get to Big Smoke's Crack Factory. Park on the red light when you get there.

Although Sweet wants to come, you have to do this alone. In order to get inside the factory, you'll need to steal a SWAT Tank. Luckily, there is one nearby, marked by a blue blip. Go over there, sneaking in the west side to get behind the cops. Drive the tank back to the crack factory and go straight through the wall. Run over all of the collected Ballas inside. Once you get to the back, head through the door to get to the first floor.

Floor 1: Security Area
Smoke is up on the fourth floor, so there's some battling ahead for you! Make your way carefully through the hallways, watching out for dudes who roll into your path and try to take you down. Crouch as you move, and be sure to pick up all dropped weapons for the siege ahead.

Near the black double doors is a small alcove with Body Armor in it. Be sure to grab it, make sure you're crouched, and head through the doors. Once inside, crouch behind the crates and open fire on the room full of baddies. You'll want to smoke the ones on the balcony first, since they have the best angle to cap you. When the room is clear, a SWAT Tank will cruise into the room. Cap the SWAT team members and move to the smaller room at the back. Use the crates as cover as you work through to the stairs. Kill the guard at the top of the stairs and go into the right hallway (the one that overlooks the room you were just in) in order to find a Heart and Combat Shotgun. Move back to the double doors and go to the next floor.

Floor 2: Drug Lab

Crouch and move up the steps, killing the guard that surprises you in the alcove ahead. Grab the Body Armor and his weapon and move through the nearby double doors. Kill the guard right as you move through and proceed to the next set of doors.

Through them is the lab. Try to hit the barrels here to cause some splash damage and take down the enemies faster. Again, watch for shooters on the upper levels. Once it's clear, head up the stairs and into the back room to snag a Heart, Go through the next set of doors to go to the third floor.

Floor 3: Ballas Lounge
Creep up the stairs and waste the guy in the alcove (like last time). Snag the Body Armor inside the niche. Be ready to blast as you move through the next double doors, as there are two guards waiting for you. Go through the next doors and waste the Ballas inside. Watch out for the guy behind the bar especially. Move to the open door on the end of the room, clean it out and step through the doors.

In the next area is a statue of Big Smoke. Kill those surrounding it and move down the hall, killing the fools ducking behind the columns. Go into the left door and clean it out, sure to grab the Body Armor in the corner. Head through the opposite door to snag a Heart. Exit the room and move down the hall.

Go through the next set of doors, and you'll be told to go get Big Smoke. Move up the steps and go through the doors. In the cut scene, you'll see that Smoke is wearing body armor. When the scene concludes, you're going to have to take him out, so be aware of this fact and try to auto-aim at his head to cause more damage.

If you need weapons, there is a small alcove around the corner that is stocked with them and Body Armor. Duck behind the bar and clear out Smoke's bodyguards, and go to the room if you need extra weapons. There is another room upstairs that contains a Heart, so head up there if you need some healin'.

Smoke will turn the lights off quickly once the fight begins. You can grab some thermal goggles in this room to help you... but you don't need to. Simply blast Smoke as he moves around the room, and stay crouched. The Combat Shotgun works best for chewing through Smoke's health. He will run willy-nilly around the room, up and down the stairs. Chase him as he does and bring him down!

In the cut scene that follows, you'll say your last goodbyes to Smoke... and Tenpenny will show up again for his encore. Before he escapes with the money from the drug empire, he torches the building, leaving you to find your own way out. At this point, turn on the Night Vision Goggles and grab the nearby goodies. You'll have 7:00 to get out of dodge.

Go through the double doors you entered through and make your way down the stairs. In the hallway below, blast through the goons and move on. When you reach Floor 2, it will be on fire. Step through the doors and grab the Fire Extinguisher. Make sure you get the Heart in this room as well. Use the extinguisher on the right door and step onto the smoky catwalk. From this vantage, take down the guards in the room below. There are a lot of them, so keep moving your target around. Extinguish any flames that block your path and go down into the room below. Head down the center aisle of the room and use the extinguisher on the fiery doors to exit.

Blast your way through the next warehouse (using the goggles, of course) and keep fighting until you reach the first hallway. Extinguish the flames and battle through, going down the staircase to the indicated exit. Kill the guys in the next room and get out!

Once outside, Tenpenny will take off in the firetruck, as promised. Problem is, Sweet grabs on to the ladder as it's pulling away. Get in a ride and follow that truck. Firebombs will be tossed at you (don't mind them) and a throng of cop cars will make your life difficult. Weave through the city, following Tenpenny's maniacal trajectory.

Midway through the chase, one of the goons will try to loosen Sweet's grip on the ladder. As this happens, a meter appears. Sweet's losing his grip! Maneuver the car near him so he can jump in next to you. Whew! At this point, the mission will switch and you'll be gunning. Target the vehicles that chase you (shooting the windshields works well) and take out the cops on the actual firetruck. The chase will go on for awhile, but just keep shooting, and looking for targets to take down.

All you have to do at this point is survive the onslaught and hang on... Eventually you'll see the final cut scene. Congratulations! You've beaten the story portion of San Andreas. Now get to work doing the billion other things the game lets you explore.
