Captain Hooks's nemesis wasn't Peter Pan…..it was a crocodile that swallowed his hand after Peter Pan chopped it off in an epic sword fight and followed him around wanting to eat the rest until eventually she (yes, in the book, the crocodile was a female) did; thus, ending Hooks career as it was.
