I hope you have enough Primogems saved up, as Nahida, the Dendro Archon Lesser Lord Kusanali herself, will soon be playable alongside a new character named Layla.
Here’s what developer HoYoverse has revealed about the new characters coming in version 3.2 so far:
Nahida
Nahida, also known as Lesser Lord Kusanali, presides over Sumeru as the youngest of all the seven Archons. As the Dendro Archon, Nahida will surely be a must-pull character for any player looking to wield the power of the Dendro element and its many reactions.
Nahida was born right after the death of Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, the first Dendro Archon.
But as opposed to her predecessor, much about the Lesser Lord Kusanali is unknown to the people she rules over, as she is kept hidden from the public by the Sages of the Sumeru Akademiya.
As seen in the first couple of chapters in the Sumeru Archon Quest, Nahida spends her time learning how to become a “worthy” Archon for her nation — all the while aiding her people in what little way she could with her power.
We’re excited to see what role she will play when invited to our teams!
Considering that all the Archons released so far had kits that leaned towards being supports, we can expect the same for the Dendro Archon.
Layla
The second new character coming in version 3.2 is Layla, who wields a Cryo vision.
According to HoYoverse, Layla is an overworked and always tired student of the Sumeru Akadamiya's Rwatahist Darshan, where she specialises in Theoretical Astrology.
She draws star charts for her thesis at the direction of her advisor, but what she really needs is to catch a break. Can't wait for her and Mona to meet!
But despite all the stress she has to endure because of her thesis, Layla is steadfast and doesn’t like to fall behind her peers’ progress, exhibiting a resilient nature through her sleepy persona.
Not much is known about her kit, but we’re excited to find out more about what she can do when further information on her is released.
Genshin Impact version 3.1, along with Cyno, Nilou, and Candace, will be released on 28 September.
Genshin Impact version 3.2, featuring Nahida and Layla, is planned to be released on 2 November.
Genshin Impact versions 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2 will have shortened run times of five weeks instead of the usual six weeks, likely to catch up to the game's original release schedule after the release of version 2.7 was delayed back in April.

And like how plants wither, return to feed the soil, and become new greenery, we can say the same happened for Greater Lord Rukkhadevata. After her power was exhausted, her time as “Rukkhadevata” ended, and she became "Kusanali". She's not exactly the same person, but her essence is still there.
Archon Quests. Lesser Lord Kusanali is first mentioned in Chapter I by Zhongli and Ganyu as the God of Dendro, where the Traveler learns that she is the youngest of The Seven.
Nahida, also known as the Dendro Archon Lesser Lord Kusanali, came into existence after the previous Archon Greater Lord Rukkhadevata disappeared while fulfilling her duty to protect Irminsul during the Cataclysm. This puts her at around 500 years old, making her younger than Yae Miko, albeit not by much.
In the video game Genshin Impact, Buer is the Goetic title given to Lesser Lord Kusanali, the Archon of Dendro (nature) and wisdom who is the tutelary deity of the nation of Sumeru and is the reincarnation of Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, her predecessor, who created her from the purest branch of Irminsul, the tree that ...
The Dendro Gnosis, peacefully obtained from Lesser Lord Kusanali by Il Dottore in exchange for information about the rumor that "the skies of Teyvat are fake."
We know that Nahida lost her memories and most of her power turning her into a child to save Sumeru. This made me wonder, what if the same thing happened to Paimon? Since there is a theory that Paimon is the unknown god we meet at the beginning of the story. There is a pretty good possibility that it is true!
It also seems like she's the only one with the will, knowledge, and cleverness to outsmart and win against the overall gods of Teyvat. So it goes without saying, that Tsaritsa is the smartest Archon and the most ambitious person in Teyvat. Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5.
Due to technically living longer than others in part due to the King Deshret ruins she had been trapped in, she self-identifies as a senior despite her youthful appearance and demands respect from them.
In the end, Nahida was locked in by the devout. In the end, to no one could Nahida reach out. Despite being an Archon, Nahida does not have any voice-overs regarding the other playable Archons individually.
Greater Lord Rukkhadevata was the original Dendro Archon of Sumeru, the avatar of Irminsul, and the predecessor to the current Dendro Archon, Lesser Lord Kusanali. Like her successor, Greater Lord Rukkhadevata held the title of God of Wisdom.
As described in the Archon Quest Chapter 3: Act 5, Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises, Nahida is the purest branch of the Irminsul Tree, to which Rukkhadevata is the avatar, therefore, both share the same identity.
Most current theory seems to imply that Nahida is Rukkhadevata fruit/child so I'm here playing devil advocate This theory started brewing when I first noticed during archon quest that Nahida consistently refer to Rukkhadevata death as a " disappearance" and not "died".
Lesser Lord Kusanali, also known by her Goetic name Buer,[5] is the God of Wisdom and the current Dendro Archon among The Seven who presides over Sumeru. [6] Paimon and the Traveler call her Nahida, the name she introduced herself with before they uncovered her true identity during Archon Quest...
