Sire Basses
Based out of Korea, Sire basses were created out of the need for high-quality instruments on a budget. Three young musician friends began making their own instruments when they found that the ones they wanted, were out of their price range. Once word got out that these instruments were at a high value, they started to gain some attention and began to sell Sire instruments online. With the insatiable urge to find ways to make these instruments better feeling, better sounding and more cost-effective, Sire captured the attention of Marcus Miller – session musician who worked with artist such as, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Herbie Hanco*ck, Mariah Carey, The Crusaders, Wayne Shorter, McCoy Tyner, Frank Sinatra, George Benson, Dr. John, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Joe Walsh, Jean-Michel Jarre, Grover Washington Jr., Donald fa*gen, Bill Withers, Bernard Wright, Kazumi Watanabe, Chaka Khan, LL Cool J and Flavio Sala.
Marcus Miller soon signed on as a major collaborator with Sire basses as they released the second generation of basses. The second generation adopted the wishes of their clients to create some of the nicest and most money-conscious collections in the industry.
