At their very first meeting, Takato appraised Junta immediately and stated that the aggregate rating of Junta was a "High quality". Despite being very critical about Junta and finding him intrusive at first, Takato quickly started showing passionate feelings towards Junta. Takato admits to himself, he never has felt love from another person, and that made Juntathe first to make him realize what it was like to be loved.

Takato feelsembarrassed when Junta shows any kind of affection, as well as feeling very sentimental when he's in Junta's company. Takato is also extremely submissive when they are alone together. He rarely shows any emotion except the cold shoulder around Junta, but he loves him.

He gets jealous when he saw Junta with his Co-actress, Yurie Kurokawa in the elevator after their break-up. But later, they got together again after solving the scandal around them.

He admires Junta's acting and shows his support by giving Junta advice if it seems necessary, and wants to preserve Junta's talented acting.In Episode 12, Takato confessed to Junta that he never wanted to break up with him because he really loved him and after that, they both made up and got back together again.

After finishing the shoot "Mid-Afternoon Star", Takato ended up in a new shoot where he meets Chihiro, a fellow actor, who is also taking part in the shoot "The Red Leaf Ogre". Later, he was taken to a hotel as a drunk by Chihiro, and was then taken advantage of.

Chihiro was at first, very pushy and Takato had a hard time showing that he wanted nothing to do with Chihiro outside work. He is oblivious to Chihiro having romantic feelings for him.

Suzuko was Takato's grandmother and had a close relationship when she was alive. She inspired Takato to take part in the entertainment industry, and she was very supportive and yet, critical of Takato. Takato also admired Suzuko.

Kazuomi is Takato's senior. He was in high school, while Takato was in middle school. He had his eyes follow Takato since high school. During Christmas, when Takato asked him what would he like to do on Christmas, a flash picture of him and Arisu making love was shown in his mind.
