Soda, pop, sugar water… whatever you call it, the United States loves it. Studies estimate that the soft drink market will hit $388 billion by 2025. But while we can’t stop sipping on the fizzy stuff, we are very opinionated on what kind we slurp down. Here are the most unpopular big-name sodas in America
Diet co*ke. After factoring in annual revenue data, consumer polls, and their number of fans on Facebook, it has been determined that Diet co*ke is the least popular soda in America. What may have tanked its score the most is the zero-calorie pop is currently sitting at only number 44 in best soda brands of all time poll. Dr. Pepper has the honor of topping that list.
Sierra Mist. According to BestLife’s numbers, Sierra Mist is America’s second least popular soft drink. But don’t shed a tear for the folks working on the lemon-lime beverage. They still make about $1 billion every year.
Sunkist. The orange soda brand’s 3.4 million fans on Facebook were not enough to get them out of the bottom three sodas in America. 7-Up better step up its game if they don’t want to suffer the same fate. There is currently less than a point separating them in the poll.
On the other side of the poll, it was Coca-Cola that was the top dog as the most popular soda in America followed by Pepsi and Dr. Pepper. Check out the full listHERE.

1. Monster Energy. Monster Energy is the unhealthiest soft drink and soda brand out there with a staggering 230 calories, 370 milligrams of sodium, and 54 grams of sugar.
Vernor's boasts the oldest soda in America, but not the world. That belongs to Schweppe's, who created a carbonated mineral water in 1783. Other old sodas include Hires Root Beer (1876), Moxie 1876, Dr. Pepper (1885) Coca-Cola (1886) and Pepsi (1893.
