When you sign a debt settlement agreement, you can cancelit in the first 10 days after you get a written copy. You cancancel it for any reason — even if you simply change your mind.
If the agreement does not follow the law or if you did not get awritten copy of it, you have the right to cancel the agreementany time within one year after you sign it.
