A new survey found that men secretly fantasize about cuddling with strangers.
Researchers at Superdrug Online Doctorsurveyed more than 1,600 Americans and Europeans in relationships and found that both men and women have thought about snuggling withexes, strangers, friends or acquaintances.
According to the survey, 16.8 percent of males and 21.5 percent of females fessed up to fantasies of nuzzling next to someone other than their partner.
“We were most surprised by how many fantasies weren’t rooted in purely sexual means,” a rep from the online prescription service told The Post. “Society suggests men’s fantasies to be entirely sexual, however, our study shows that men’s fantasies can be emotional as well as physical.”
There are, however, still some stereotypical carnal desires. Almost 70 percent of boyfriends and 65 percent of girlfriends have thought about having sex with a third party.
But these lusts don’t necessarily mean that couples’sexual needs aren’t being met in their current relationships. About 57 percent of men admitted they’re “satisfied” with their partner, while 60 percent of women said they’re “very satisfied” between the sheets.
The survey showed that one way to keep a significant other content when it comes to sex is communicating desires to one another. More than 65 percent of men and 55 percent of women who said they discuss their fantasies reported being “satisfied” in their relationships.
