Is it worth staying in Šibenik?
Both Trogir and Šibenik are UNESCO World Heritage Sites (in Šibenik it is the cathedral that is listed) and in my opinion are both well worth visiting if you have the time in your Croatian itinerary.
Sibenik is a city of music and is well known for its long tradition of “Klape” choir which UNESCO has placed on the list of cultural heritage. From the beginning of June month until the second half of September you can enjoy in traditional Klape choirs evenings.
As the third-largest city in Dalmatia, Šibenik makes a strongly recommended destination on this spectacular stretch of Adriatic coastline. This city is filled with incredible historical sites, beautiful seaside hang-outs, and quaint alleys and squares—just what you may expect from a medieval coastal city in Croatia.
The distance between Šibenik and Krka National Park is 16 km. The road distance is 37 km.
Both are very worthwhile Zadar has, overall, more to see and do (,though I'll confess that the sea organ seems a lot of fuss over nothing.) with a very distinct old city. Sibenik has a great cathedral and excellent museum. But might be hard to fill 3 days.
For what it's worth, driving in Zadar for a tourist is a bit more of a challenge than in Sibenik. You'll probably want to stay on the peninsula in Zadar, and parking there is very limited. Sibenik is also right off the main highway so easy to get to; Zadar is a bit of a detour off the main highway.

Banj beach is a Šibenik city beach with a unique view to the old city center. You can reach it from the center of the city in a ten-minute walk on the waterside promenade.
Best For Everything! One of the most popular islands in Croatia, Hvar is well known for being the leading party island in Croatia. The nightlife is mainly concentrated in Hvar Town, but the island has two sides, and the other side is ideal for a family break.
How much time do you need at Krka park?
You should only need one day to explore the Krka waterfalls and park area. If you have the time I suggest allocating a full day here. As well as walking along the boardwalks, taking photos and swimming there is a museum near the Lozovac entry and a few cafes and restaurants where you can eat and grab drinks.
If you want to go hiking through Krka National Park, plan on at least three days. It would be wise to make reservations ahead of time because this destination tends to get busy during high season.
While both allow you to see the beautiful lakes and waterfalls up close, the paths at Plitvice are much lower to the ground, so they offer better waterside views than the ones at Krka and have an even more special kind of vibe. What is this? WINNER: Plitvice… it really is a breathtaking place!
Zadar is quite small and compact and the top sites of the city can be seen in just one day, so if you want to make sure that you have time to visit other places in Croatia, you don't have to worry about not dedicating enough time to Zadar — it's definitely worth visiting but you don't need to carve out a significant ...

Final verdict: Split or Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik is one of the most beautiful walled cities in the world, very elegant, with better beaches and better hotels than Split. Both towns are must-visit places in Croatia.

Rovinj is a very pretty small town and for many people that's reason enough to make it a place worth visiting. Many will spend 2-3 days and will most likely rave about its romantic charm, colorful streets and glorious sunsets.
