What are the buttons on my spectrum remote?

- Press the Guide button on your remote.

- Reboot the Spectrum Receiver by unplugging your receiver and allowing 60 seconds before plugging it back in.
- Program your remote with your receiver using the Radio Frequency (RF) method.
- Choose “settings”
- Click “edit channels”
- Go to “edit channel list”
- Scroll to the channel you wish to delete.
- Hit Ok to confirm the deletion.
Press the DVR button on the remote to view the list of recordings, or choose one displayed in My Library. Highlight the recording and press OK, then select DELETE and confirm on the next screen.
you can click the right button from your remote and choose the sort by number option. Press the upper key and lower key, for scrolling into channels. Use the device to find the list for the channels that you have signed up for. You can select the channels that you want to watch with your remote.

When you press this button twice, it will show these 4 colored buttons as A, B, C, D and you can use the respective button for its actions depending on the application. Delete a Recorded Program

How do I remove unwanted channels?
If the window heading is Favorite List press the Red button to switch to TV Services. Scroll up or down to the channel that you want to delete. Press the White Option button (called App on some remotes). Select Delete and press OK.
If you're still missing channels, try rebooting your Spectrum Receiver. Unplug the receiver and wait at least 60 seconds before plugging it back in. You can also reset your receiver through your online account, or using the My Spectrum app.
If necessary, you may need to restart your Spectrum Guide by selecting RESET DATA to clear memory and reset your system. To reset data: Press the Menu button on your remote. Scroll to Settings & Support using the arrow buttons and then press OK/Select.
Troubleshooting Steps
Replace your batteries. Make sure your Spectrum Receiver (cable box) is turned on. Change channels by pressing the buttons on your receiver (if available).
If you've got the TWC-style oblong black remote (says CLIKR-5 somewhere on the back) there should be a Live button next to the List button, above the Fast Forward button. The CLICKR-5 remote should still work on Spectrum Guide boxes, and has a "Live TV" button.
That wasn't my only job, but was part of it. On ALL of these remotes, regardless of company, the one's that have an A-B-C-D like this are program-able buttons. They are mainly used if the company wants to roll out some previously unused feature that requires it's own remote function.
