ARK: Survival Evolved's new update adds the fastest Dinosaur so far
Patch 233 has been launched by Studio Wildcard and includes new items to collect and use, as well as a new ride.
The Gallimimus is a new dinosaur fans can grab which adds a very special skill to the game, top speed.
It has no natural defenses but is considered the fastest animal around, which also has the ability to carry three people at once around the ARK: Survival Evolved map.

ARK Survival's Gallimimus
"Patch 233 welcomes a new friend to the ARK, it’ll come as no surprise to survivors that the Gallimimus has been often been described as being chicken-like, with it’s extremely skittish behaviour, looking nervous even when eating!" the official ARK notes read.
"The speedy herbivore makes its way onto the ARK with no natural way to defend itself except for running away.
"Thankfully the Gallimimus may very well be the fastest dinosaur on the ARK, it's strength, endurance, and speed of its legs allow it to ferry up to 3 Survivors in a specially-designed Saddle!"

The official notes on the handy Herbivore point out that it can be seen as a bit of a burden when stacked against those Dinos that can collect resources and defend tribes, however there's no doubt it is also the best mod for a quick a getaway.
ARK: Survival Evolved has also seen more optimisation and contente added, including:

Rex is, unsurprisingly, one of the strongest dinosaurs in the game. Since it has a high melee attack, it is useful in PvP and PvE fights. Also, this dinosaur doesn't disappoint when taking over bases during raids, especially if equipped with the Tek Rex Saddle. Their roar threatens enemies whenever they attack as well.
A 180% pteranodon can outrun a normal wyvern to run away from a alpha wyvern you need 200% movement speed on a pteranodon. Use stews to gain a 25% movement speed gain on the pteranodon.
The Ichthy is a perfect beginner's mount as it is easy to tame and can sustain very fast speed in the water for a long time. This is probably the fastest creature in the seas. Megalodon - One of the deadliest creatures you will encounter under the waves.
Most creatures also have a preferred Kibble, which will be the fastest taming food while only slightly decreasing the taming effectiveness. (Side note: Efficiency is not a synonym for effectiveness. The efficiency (how economical a method is) is not taken into account for the taming effectiveness.)
In a cage match, T.rex has several adaptations that might give it an edge over Giganotosaurus. But don't place your bets yet. The bigger dinosaur could leverage its skill at hunting massive sauropods to take down a smaller-than-usual foe.
rex beats velociraptors. Armed with powerful jaws and sharp teeth, tyrannosaurs were built to kill. But they were also built for something else, researchers say: speed.
Lystrosaurus is a common sight on the beaches of The Island. They're not very dangerous, and they're easy to tame. You don't have to knock them out, just feed them mejoberries.
