By default, the username is admin, and the password is password. For network security purposes, ARRIS recommends changing the router default admin user name and password after logging onto the SBR-AC1200P for the first time.

The default IP address for Arris routers is usually 192.168. 0.1 or 192.168. 1.1, but it can be different for some models.

When launched, the ARRIS SURFboard Manager App will prompt for the admin username and password of supported SURFboard products. The default username is “admin” and the password is “password” on the SURFboard product.

Enter the default Arris router password

If this doesn't work, someone may have changed the router's login credentials. If this is the case, you simply need to reset your router to factory defaults. Just note that by resetting your Arris router, any changes you have made to the router will be completely cleared.

You will be taken to the Arris login screen, asking you for a user name and password. By default, the Username should be admin, and the Password should be the Pre-Shared Key located on the modem's label to log in.

The default Network Name and Password can be found on the sticker on the back of your modem (see below). If your modem has been Factory Reset, it will default to these credentials.

Note: Router reset will wipe out all of your customized settings. Router username and password will be reset to factory default values as shown on the router label. Personalized Wi-Fi settings will be deleted, including the Wi-Fi name and password you created.
