Why does Solomon betray Diva? ›

Solomon Goldsmith was Diva's fourth chevalier. However, he later betrayed her in the hopes of securing Saya Otonashi's love.

Saya reloads her sword with blood and is ready to fight him to protect Diva's babies. However, Hagi takes her sword and pushes her aside so she can escape while he impales Amshel himself. As Amshel crystallizes, he stabs Hagi through the chest and the ceiling collapses on them both.

Saya is a glutton due to lack of drinking insufficient amount of blood. Despite being the eldest of the two, Saya is weaker than Diva due to lack of drinking human blood.

In 2005, Sony and Production I.G announced the creation of Blood+, a fifty-episode anime television series. It is held to be an alternate universe telling of Blood: The Last Vampire; it has only minor connections and similarities to the film, and many differences.

I found the story rather compelling. On top of it all, the action is nearly addictive without being too over the top. I think it's a wonderful series. I do, however kind of wish that there was a bit more visual continuity between Blood: TLV and the series.
