What Is Archaic Stone For In Genshin Impact?
Archaic Stone in Genshin Impact is a rare ore that can be spotted around The Chasm. It is said that it can only be found in the veins of the oldest mountains. However, despite its high value, the Archaic Stone's rarity also means that many people aren't aware of its existence. Luckily, when Travelers received an Archaic Stone from Kun Jun, it was given by the embodiment of Azhdaha himself. It is easy to notice that the gift is of far higher quality compared to the Archaic Stone players get around The Chasm.
Collecting Archaic Stones in Genshin Impact allows people to earn around 60 Primogems. However, note that this special ore will not respawn. Therefore, after harvesting one, Travelers should remember to mark the spot on their map. This way they don't have to go back to the same location when attempting to find all the available Archaic Stones in The Chasm. Archaic Stones Locations In Genshin Impact
There are a total of nine Archaic Stones Genshin Impact players can find on the surface of The Chasm. Seven of them are waiting on high grounds (marked with a pickaxe symbol), while the two Archaic Stones tagged with an exclamation mark are located on the ground level or underground. The Archaic Stone in Fuao Vale is the one that can be found underground, near the Bedrock Keys.
Archaic Stone is a shining blue rock that has to be destroyed to be harvested. They don't count as an ore, so players can't rely on Ningguang's Passive to find it.
What Is Archaic Stone For In Genshin Impact?
To use the Archaic Stone in Genshin Impact, players have to talk to Muning, a Specialist of the Ministry of Civil Affairs. He'll express his concerns about finding some Archaic Stone. This is the same gem given to the Travelers by Kun Jun in Act II of Zhongli's Story Quest.
Muning will then ask the protagonist to sell him the memento, which of course they'll refuse. Luckily, Muning says that he would settle for Archaic Stones of lower quality, and he requests the Travelers to bring him three Archaic Stones. This will trigger the Says He Who Seeks Stone Quest.
Once Genshin Impact players collect three Archaic Stones, simply talk to Muning and submit the gems to him.
Giving Muning the first three Archaic Stones in Genshin Impact will end the Says He Who Seeks Stones Quest. However, players can still sell him six more Archaic Stones afterward. For every three Archaic Stones, Travelers will earn twenty Primogems and a decent sum of Mora.
