Mice are small rodents who can be very active, generally at night and around dawn and dusk. They're aprey speciesand therefore prefer to stay close to cover.
Mice lovebuilding neststo help them regulate their body temperature, and they'resensitive to light and noise. They move very quickly, so you'll need to handle them carefully so as not to hurt them!

Caring for pet mice
Owning and caring for micecan be very rewarding. Mice usually live for about three years, so it's a fairly long-term commitment and it's worth having a good read of what it takes to care for a mouse before you decide to buy one.
