A fusion of card games and roguelikes, playing Slay the Spire requires making unique decks, encountering bizarre creatures, and discovering relics of immense power.

  • Dynamic Deck Building: Discover hundreds of cards to add to your deck with each attempt at climbing the Spire. Select cards that work together to efficiently dispatch foes and reach the top.
  • An Ever-changing Spire: Whenever you embark on a journey up the Spire, the layout differs each time. Choose a risky or safe path, face different enemies, choose different cards, discover different relics, and even fight different bosses!
  • Powerful Relics to Discover: Powerful items known as relics can be found throughout the Spire. The effects of these relics can greatly enhance your deck through powerful interactions. But beware, obtaining a relic may cost you more than just gold.

Cloud saves are supported on Android, and while the game is available on iOS and PC, Slay the Spire doesn't support cross-platform saves, which is unfortunate. You'll need a smartphone or tablet with at least 1GB of RAM and running Android 5.1 or newer to play the game.

He's been an Android fan ever since owning an HTC Hero, with the Dell Streak being his first phablet. He currently carries an Honor Magic 5 Pro in his pockets, a Xiaomi Pad 5 in his backpack, and thinks nothing of lugging a 17-inch laptop around the world. When not immersed in the world of Android and gadgets, he's an avid sports fan, and like all South Africans, he loves a good Braai (BBQ).
