There are five marked Raid Bosses in Borderlands 2 and two unmarked raid boss. Most Raid Bosses require Eridium to access.

Terramorphous is a Raid Boss that you have to kill during the Side Quest You. Will. Die. (Seriously.). This mission becomes available after beating the main story for the first time. Requires 4 Eridium.

Vermivorous the Invincible is a Raid Boss and the final evolved form of the Varkids. Most often encountered in Caustic Caverns and Tundra Express, Vermivorous spawns at level 51 in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, two levels higher than the highest leveled player in Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode and carries a massive amount of health in addition to more powerful versions of attacks seen in Super Badass and Ultimate Badass Varkids.

Vermivorous doesn't have a shield, but its massive amount of health still makes this a daunting fight. Because it's the evolution of a normal enemy, Vermivorous has no set spawn point and does not require any Eridium to battle. Players killed during the battle can respawn and continue fighting.

Master Gee the Invincible is an optional mission fortheCaptain Scarlett and Her Pirate's BootyDLC expansion.Players will receive this mission from Shade.The only objective here is to defeat Master Gee but doing so is no small task. Master Gee is one of two Seraph enemies currently in the game and is found in Hayter's Folly. Players will require 8 Eridium to enter his arena.

Hyperius the Invincible is a Raid Bossthat is available in the Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty DLC. Once a normal engineer, Hyperius was altered by the powerful alien creatures that awoke when the Vault was opened. Hyperious is a Seraph Guardian that holds Seraph Crystals that drops when killed to buy even more powerful items. To fight you have to pay 8 pieces of Eridium.

Pete the Invincible is a Raid Boss that is only available once you beat Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage DLC -- i.e. complete the Long Way to the Top mission. Pete the Invincible is the same guy as Pyro Pete, the boss you had to kill in order to rank up on the Torgue leaderboards. Only this time, he's buffed up and ready to kill the crap out of you.

Voracidous the Invincible is a Raid Boss made available in Borderlands 2 via the Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt downloadable add-on. The main quest line of the new campaign add-on must be completed in order to obtain this mission from Sir Hammerlock in the Hunter's Grotto Lodge.

Dexiduous the Invincible is a secret, unmarked raid boss in Borderlands 2; added with the new downloadable campaign, Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt. Dexiduous will only appear when you find the Eridium tomes spread out across Hunter's Grotto. Fighting him requires tons of hard-earned Eridium.
