Taco Bell is bringing back its popular Nacho Fries on Thursday, Oct. 13, for a limited time.
For an even more limited time, fans can get the hotter than hot version of Nacho Fries.
Loaded TRUFF Nacho Fries, featuring TRUFF’s “Hotter Hot Sauce,” will be available only for two weeks or while supplies last.
The sauce, Taco Bell said, “features TRUFF’s ultra-unique blend of real black truffles and red chili peppers with added creaminess to compliment the cheesiness of Taco Bell’s menu.”
So that you don’t miss the sauce, Taco Bell has introduced a digital tracking system, the TRUFF Tracker, which tracks the supply status of TRUFF at their local Taco Bell restaurants.
The Loaded TRUFF Nacho Fries feature seasoned fries topped with grilled marinated steak, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, warm nacho cheese sauce and reduced-fat sour cream for $4.49.
“When we tested Loaded TRUFF Nacho Fries in California last year, we heard from fans all over the country about how bummed they were that they didn’t get a taste,” said Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s Global Chief Food Innovation Officer. “The TRUFF team is truly changing the sauce game and we’re thrilled to partner with them to bring our Nacho Fries to the next level in spice and innovation.”
TRUFF can be added to any item on the Taco Bell menu through the app for $1.
Even after the TRUFF sauce is gone, Nacho Fries will be stay on the menu, Taco Bell said, “for an extended period.”
Nacho Fries with cheese dipping sauce are $1.79 or as part of the Nacho Fries Box for $5.49 that also includes a beef five-layer burrito, a crunchy taco and a medium fountain drink.
The Deluxe Cravings Box for $7.99 includes Nacho Fries, steak chalupa, a Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco and a medium fountain drink.
