Whether you have read the Bible through multiple times or if you have just struggled to get through a chapter, The Bible Recap is a helpful resource to clear away the confusion and help you to understand the God whose story lies within the Bible's pages.

Please do not buy a print Chronological Bible; it will likely be laid out differently than our reading plan. All you need is a regular Bible! We use the ESV (English Standard Version) of the Bible. The Bible Recap is also available in SPANISH and ASL!

→ With The Bible Recap podcast, videos, and book, host and author Tara-Leigh Cobble will take you through the Bible chronologically in a year while highlighting and summarizing.

Tara-Leigh Cobble is a speaker, author, teacher, and podcaster. Her 8-minute podcast, "The Bible Recap," recently reached No. 1 on Apple's podcast charts. She joined Good Day to talk about the accomplishment and her goal -- to help listeners read and understand the bible in a year.

Additionally, the book (which impacted the podcast retroactively) was researched and proofed by the editorial team at Bethany House Nonfiction Publishing. All these efforts aim to offer a recap that is accessible and informative for a wide variety of faith traditions within the Christian perspective.

Each day's recap is just 2 pages of this 750+ page book. The book serves as a perfect companion for the podcast, especially if you're a visual learner or prefer more of a tactile experience in Bible study. It's also a great gift for the person who doesn't love podcasts or isn't tech savvy.
