Trysil ski area (2024)

Trysil is Norway's largest ski resort with 69 ski slopes and 31 lifts, three large children's areas, and several Snow Parks. A total of 81 km of groomed slopes.

Lodging

Trysil has several popular resort hotels as well as large, modern mountain cabins and apartments. Most are in the immediate vicinity of the slopes and lifts. Radisson Blu Resort and SkiStar Lodge Trysil are located on either side of the Trysilfjället mountain. Both are popular choices for families and offer facilities such as restaurants, bowling, water park and spa treatments. In the area Skihytta on the south side you'll find large mountain cabins with direct access to the ski slopes.

NEW! On 1 May, Radisson Blu Mountain Resort & Residences will become SkiStar Lodge Trysil. SkiStar Lodge Trysil will open its doors for the first time on 23 June. The hotel has a unique and spectacular location high up in the mountain with the mountain ridge behind it and direct access to lifts, slopes, shopping and restaurants. Here you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing mountain holiday.

The skiing

Trysil consists of four interconnected areas.

Turistsenter is located on the south side and has long, wide ski slopes of all difficulty levels. Here you'll also find the children area Valle's Ski Area and several Snow Parks.

Høyfjellssenter is located on the north side of the mountain. Here you'll find many green ski slopes, a number of red ski slopes and a large children's area, Valle's Ski Area.

Høgegga is the steepest area in Trysil and offers challenging black ski slopes. It's also a favourite area for many alpine ski stars.

Skihytta is located on the south side of the mountain and offers long sunny days. Here you'll find express lifts, a children's area and restaurants along with blue and red ski slopes.

Children's areas

Eventyr at Trysil Turistsenter

The children's area Eventyr is located by the T6 lift (Eventyr). Here you'll find easy button lifts, conveyor belts, self timer trail, easy slopes and a sledding hill. Here children can meet up with Valle and participate in activities such as theatre shows, treasure hunts and Valle's show.There is also a green park with simple bumps and boxes, perfect for beginners and children.

Valleland at Trysil Høyfjellssenter

The children's area Gammelgård is located by the F11 lift (Isiz). Here you'll find easy button lifts, conveyor belts, easy slopes and a sledding hill. Here, children can meet up with Valle and participate in activities such as theatre shows, treasure hunts and Valle's show.There is also a green park with simple bumps and boxes, perfect for beginners and children.

Facilities nearby: Meet-up location for the ski school, day-care, toilets, SkiStarShop, BBQ, sledding hill, a restaurant and a parking lot.

The children's area at the Vallelift, Skihytta

The children's area at Skihytta is located by the S4 lift (the Valle lift). Here you'll find an easy button lift and easy slopes. Here, children can meet up with Valle and go skiing with him.

Snow Parks & Fun Ride

Trysil Turistsenter has several parks. Snow Park Red & Black has many jumps, rails and boxes and Trysil's biggest jump Night'n. Snow Park Blue is Trysil's most popular park. Here you'll find easier jumps, rail and boxes. Snow Park Green is in the children's area Eventyr and has easy jumps and boxes. At Trysil Høyfjellssenter you'll find a Fun Ride with jumps, bumps and velodromes. The Fun Ride is fun and challenging for everyone, from small children to experienced skiers.Blue Park is located right next door. In the ski area you'll also find a ski cross track and a parallel slalom course.
