Which Camp Facilities You Should Buy First - Far Cry 6 Guide - IGN (2024)

Because you can only buy two Camp Facilities per Guerrilla Camp, you'll really want to know which Camp Facilities you should get first. Here's our recommendation.

This order may not apply to absolutely everyone. For example, someone who prioritizes hunting may want to get the Camp Facility that benefits that earlier in the list.

Hideout Network

The very first Camp Facility you should get is the Hideout Network. There are many good reasons for this:

  • You can buy Guerrilla Hideout locations, which act as Fast Travel points all across Yara. You can find these Hideouts manually, but it's much easier to buy them, especially for regions you haven't been to yet.
  • You gain the Wingsuit, which lets Dani glide through the air. These are very helpful when you need to cross canyons or to get to a location you've spotted from a high point on the map. The only downside is that Dani will die when she hits anything, even the ground, so you have to use the Parachute before landing.
  • You can Air Drop above any Fast Travel point in Yara, including Guerrilla Hideouts, FND Bases, Checkpoints and Towns (although not Guerrilla Camps). This helps a great deal in liberating Yara, because it reduces travel times significantly and lets you land on top of buildings. And while you cannot Air Drop from a point guarded by an AA Gun, AA Guns themselves do not notice Dani wingsuiting (except for the two covering Esperanza city).
  • You can get vehicles at Guerrilla Hideouts, including a flying car. When you upgrade to the Enhanced Hideout Network, the Hideouts will have a hybrid Resolver vehicle, including the ALHV-2 Hovercraft (Land/Sea), the Avispa Buzzer Helicopter (Air/Sea) and the Angelito FW Turbo (a flying car). You can then Scan these with Dani's phone to summon them from the appropriate Pickup points!
  • Loot replenishing Resource chests. When you upgrade to the Enhanced Hideout Network, each Guerrilla Hideout will come with Guerrilla Supply Caches that gives Medicine, Metal and Gasolina, and replenishes after 24 hours real-time.
  • Reveal every FND location and Treasure Hunt on the map. Every Guerrilla Hideout comes with a Guerrilla Scout, NPCs who have an exclamation mark above their heads and reveal a point of interest when you talk to them. They can reveal FND Bases, Checkpoints, AA Guns, and even Side Quests like Yaran Stories and Treasure Hunts. Notably, they refresh every time you visit, so you can Fast Travel to each one over and over again to reveal every single one on the map!
  • Get Industrial Circuits. With the Perfected Hideout Network, the Guerrilla Supply Caches mentioned above will give more Medicine, Metal and Gasolina, as well as a bonus Resource. If Dani is a high enough level, the caches will reliably give you Industrial Circuits, which are used to craft the best possible Weapon mods in the game!

Guerrilla Garrison

The second Camp Facility that you should purchase is the Guerrilla Garrison. Here's why:

  • You can buy the best Weapons in the game. The Guerrilla Garrison storefront sells Weapons, with more advanced stock unlocking when you upgrade to the Enhanced and Perfected Guerrilla Garrisons. With a few exceptions, this opens access to every Standard Weapon in the entire game, including Sniper Rifles, Rocket Launchers and more, and is much faster than getting them via FND Caches, which has a linear order of Weapons you must progress through as you open them all.
  • They upgrade Libertad's Guerrillas. The normal, Enhanced and Perfected Guerrilla Garrisons will spawn more Guerrilla's across Yara, who are better equipped with weapons such as Sniper Rifles Rocket Launchers. This means they can more easily assist you as you explore, and defend themselves at Checkpoints.
  • You unlock Recon Laptops that scope out FND Bases. These Laptops are usually placed at high points that overlook FND Bases, and automatically mark the locations of things you need to know about. The basic Recon Laptops will tag tripwires, auto-turrets, as well as Cameras and Alarms so you can more easily complete a Stealth Run (you gain bonus Resources when you liberate an FND Base without raising the alarm or being spotted).
    • The Advanced Recon Laptops will also tag High Value Targets, otherwise known as the Commanding Officer. Killing and looting their body will give you a Keycard to the Stash Room, where you can sabotage a power box to disable the power across all alarms at once!
    • The Specialist Recon Laptops will tag the Security Control Center. These computers are bonus objectives that Dani can hack for intel, revealing FND Caches and Unique Weapon locations across Yara.
