This section of IGN's Far Cry 6 Wiki Guide serves as a hub page for Yaran Stories, which are side quests that can be found throughout the world of Yara.

Yaran Stories are marked with a purple compass and are typically activated by talking to a specific character in order to complete a task for them. They'll often take you to a different area of the map altogether and will reward you with XP along with something on the side, including Pesos, Gear, and even Los Bandidos Leaders. Most are unlocked by finding them while exploring, or you may receive tips from informants about their locations.

Details of Yaran Stories

Triada Blessings

Explore Oluwa Cave on Isla Santuario to begin this side quest. Find the cave by exploring the island, or get a tip from an informant to learn its location. This Yaran Story spawns three Treasure Hunts on the main island of Yara. Complete those, then return to Oluwa Cave to complete this Yaran Story.

Supremacy

This side quest automatically begins as part of The Guerrilla Main Operation. Speak to Juan in his office on Libertad Island, and purchase some of his gear.

Who's a Good Boy?

This side quest will send you on a hunt to find Crocodile Meat in order to make Chorizo's favorite dish. It can be accessed after completing Meet the Monteros.

Fetch Quest

After completing Who's a Good Boy?, you'll unlock this side quest. Follow Chorizo around Montero Farm as he digs up small stashes of resources and other items.

Spur of the Moment

This side quest can be found at the Montero Farm guerrilla camp. Head towards the co*ckfighting arena and speak to Elvis to start it. He wants you to retrieve some co*ck fighting spurs from a rival.

Over Easy

Complete Spur of the Moment for Elvis to unlock this Yaran Story. He needs help dealing with some juiced-up roosters.

Backseat Driver

After completing one of the "Meet the ..." main missions, call for your vehicle and Juan will call you. He'll tell you about a woman named Yami Suarez that he wants you to meet. Yami tasks you with retrieving a family vehicle that was stolen by FND soldiers.

Stealing Thunder

This side quest can be found in the western section of Lozanía. You can get it from Zenia Zayas, who's spray painting the side of a garage. She wants you to steal a tank for her.

Heavy Metal

This side quest will be given to you by Zenia Zayas after completing Stealing Thunder. She wants you to put her new art project to good use.

Model Citizen

Find this Yaran Story while exploring Aquas Lindas, Madrugada, or get a tip from an informant revealing its location. Chica Núñez wants you to eliminate an artist that is killing people in the name of art.

Boom or Bust

This side quest can be accessed after completing Meet Maximas Matanzas. You must search the town of Feroza for a weapons shipment that contains American weapons... in the form of a furry friend!

Wing and a Prayer

This side quest can be found in the southern part of Noventarmas, Valle De Oro. Isabela Entenza will give you the quest to rescue her friend Marisol from FND soldiers.

Shock Therapy

This Yaran Story can be found while exploring the western side of Cruz Del Salvador in Valle De Oro near the shore. It's given to you by Dr. Yanny Dábolos, who will give you activities to realign your chakras and achieve inner peace.

Stealing Home

This side quest can be found while exploring in Cruz Del Salvador, Valle De Oro. It's located east of Segunda. You will be tasked with retrieving three pieces of baseball memorabilia scattered across Yara.

Tanks For The Likes

This side quest can be found while exploring Barrial in Valle De Oro. It will be given to you by a man named Colton “CBSavage” Blake. Film his daredevil antics and post the video on-line.

Big Papi in Little Yara

This Yaran Story automatically activates when you get within about 500m of its location. Juan Cortez will call, asking you to help a friend.

Man's Best Enemy

This side quest is the first in a series of Yaran Stories where you fight alongside Chicharron before unlocking him as an amigo. It can be accessed after completing Meet the Legends.

Pecking Orders

This side quest is the second in a series of three missions where you help Chicharron sabotage FND operations along the coast. It can be accessed after completing Man's Best Enemy.

Wingman

This side quest is the third and final in the line of Yaran Stories where you help Chicharron sabotage the FND's operations along Vacia Coast. It can be accessed after completing Pecking Orders.

The First Love

Speak with Lorenzo Canseco at Patriotas Peak after completing Pics Or It Didn't Happen to start this Yaran Story. Lorenzo wants you to deliver an apology letter to a former lover.

The Seeds of Love

After completing The First Love for Lorenzo, return to Patriotas Peak guerrilla camp and speak to him again to start this Yaran Story. This mission will have you traveling all over El Este, searching for Lorenzo's children.

Everything to Lose

After completing Meet the Legends, this Yaran Story can be found in Conuco, El Este, where you'll be tasked with helping the farmers in Fernando Valley.

Nothing to Hide

Return to Petra Toka after completing Everything to Lose and help her rescue her daughter from military captivity.

Undercover Stud

To start this Yaran Story, speak to Gilberto Rosario in La Moral HQ after completing the Bullet Points main operation.

Tricks of the Trade

Return to Gilberto Rosario after completing Undercover Stud for him. He needs your assistance with a prisoner swap.

Loose Ends

Speak to Rosa Mel Paquete at Cardoso Mill in La Joya. You will be required to destroy some evidence at locations in La Joya, then assassinate some high-value military personnel.

Turn the Party

This Yaran Story unlocks after completing Loose Ends. Return to Rosa Mel Paquete at Cardoso Mill. She wants you to shoot a video of her.

We're (Un)jammin'

The objective of this Yaran Story is to disable wave jammers located across Mirador Cape in La Joya. This mission unlocks during the main story operation Tourist Trap.

Paint the Town

After completing the Heavy Metal Yaran Story and the Paradise Lost Operation, you can start up this Yaran Story by talking with Zenia Zayas in the guerrilla hideout in Esperanza. You must locate and deface statues scattered around the city of Esperanza.
