Where are sire guitars manufactured?
With my curiosity of a big name of Marcus Miller and the fact that it is made in Indonesia I ordered my first Sire V7 4 string. My only first impression was the unbelief that I play a cheap bass with a boutique quality in my hands, and it is made in Indonesia.
Marcus wanted to make a pro-quality bass accessible to the masses, and the Sire V7s accomplish the task with ease. Made in Indonesia, the V7 basses benefit hugely from the consistency and precision of contemporary CNC manufacturing.
Sire builds their basses in a factory owned by Sire in Indonesia. Their quality control is nothing short of impressive.
The Sire Larry Carlton S7 was released in 2020 and is part of the S7 series. It is made in Indonesia (but bear in mind that mass production guitars change factory often). We'll be taking a look at its build quality, tone, playability, versatiliy and some extras to determine how 'good' this guitar is.
Designed for comfortable playability as well as clear, warm tone, the Sire L7 also features an ebony fingerboard with rolled edges. This is one of the best LP style guitars on the market, and gives every brand a run for their money!
Sire was started by a group of friends in Korea in the late '90s. They had grown frustrated with rising instrument prices, so they decided to make their own. They worked extremely hard until they were happy with the result – and in fact, it all turned out better than expected.

How good is Marcus Miller?
Marcus Miller is an incredible musician. He was one of the top NY session players and also worked with Jazz genius Miles Davis. He's also an incredibly nice fellow if his interview with Lee Anderton is any indication.

Sire has done a great job on this instrument. Like a real 335, it is made from laminated wood and the finish on the maple top is beautifully done. There is nice transparency in the amber and the transition to black in the two tone sunburst is very nicely down.
Sire acoustics boast sleek aesthetics, an extremely impressive build quality and classy finishing touches. If you're looking for your first lifelong guitar companion, you really can't go wrong here. They're built to last and produce crisp tones.

Also, he used Gibson P-100 stacked P-90 style pickups. Rumors suggest that the P-100s were actually P-90s or custom Seymour Duncan pickups. Larry's Valley Arts guitars were 7/8-sized, sported set-neck construction, and used the Gibson standard 24.75-inch scale length.
The H7 is not a small guitar. Like the 1958 classic that provided its design template, it's much wider than the average electric six-string, and the heavy maple centre block of our review instrument, coupled with a narrow but chunky neck, brings the weight to almost 4kg.
