Where are DeSmuME save files kept?
SAVE FILES are stored in . dsv files. If you do not have any . ds(0-9) files then YOU ARE USING SAVE FILES.

To open the SAV file using ClientSettings Editor, simply select File → Open, navigate to your SAV file, and click Open. When you are finished modifying the file, select File → Save or Save As, name the file, choose the save location, and click Save.

To export your Pokémon into a file that genners can use, the best option is to right-click on the mini sprite of the Pokémon and click “QR!” This will generate a QR code that genners can use and import into their own PKHeX and subsequently into their game to trade with you.
