Where do you find the scuba gear in the forest?
Location. The rebreather currently can only be found in Cave 5 - Submerged Cave, near the southern entrance. It is found right before a water hole inside the cave. It is to the left as you approach the water hole.

You need to enter Inventory and click it to unequip the same way you unequip a weapon. And it's tucked away in the top left corner, behind the backpack.
Location. The Katana is found in the Dead Cave (Cave 1). It is one of the easiest to obtain items in the game, as it does not require that the player face any cannibals or mutants. To obtain the Katana, enter the easternmost entrance for Cave 1 (located here), which is not too far from the river.

The cave contains a minimum of 6 creepy mutants, including Armsies, Virginias, and Mutant Babies, some of which are of the blue variety. It also contains over approximately 23 regular cannibals and several babies.
A caver camp can be found at this level, with orange save tents, flarechests, and all manner of supplies. Climbing down another rope will lead you to a room with a small central pond with a boat, as well as one Cowman and a single cannibal.

Where is submerged cave?
Submerged Cave (Japanese: 海中洞窟 Underwater Cave) is a dungeon in Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon that is located near the Air Continent. It sits underwater, directly above the Prehistoric Ruins. It is unlocked after encountering Beheeyem in Lively Town, after the player escapes from the Voidlands.

Gameplay. The employee Keycard is located in a boarded-up alcove near the end of Cave 6 (also known as the Lawyer Cave). It is found near the Camcorder in a large pile of corpses and protected by an Armsy and Mutant Babies. The easiest entrance to the Cave 6 is in the cliffside passage by the shipping containers.
