How to transfer your Amazon card balance to PayPal?
It’s not possible. There is no way for you to make a balance transfer between an Amazon Gift Card and your PayPal wallet. Therefore, you cannot pass the available balance back and forth.
However, this does not mean that you cannot use this Amazon Gift Card from PayPal. You can add the gift card to your PayPal account to use it for purchases.
How to add your gift card to PayPal?
While you could not add the balance of the Amazon Gift Card to your PayPal wallet, as mentioned above, it is possible to add the Amazon Gift Card to your PayPal account.
It is important to understand the difference between transferring the balance, which would mean passing money back and forth, and adding the card, which allows you to use it as a payment method until your balance is depleted.
The steps to add the Amazon gift card are the same as when you add a MasterCard or American Express card:

- Select the wallet section
- Choose the option to link a debit or credit card
- Choose the manual card linking option
- Enter the information you will be asked to enter about the card, including the card number, expiry date, and CVV code
- Complete the process and accept
When you make payments, link the Amazon gift card to your PayPal account. You can then choose this card as a payment method for your purchases.
Could you transfer the balance of the Amazon gift card?
No. Just like transferring the balance of your Amazon gift card to your PayPal wallet, it is not possible to transfer the balance of your Amazon gift card to your bank account. On the other hand, financial institutions will not accept your gift card as a payment method either.
