How to complete the side quest in the Thunder Helm? ›

How To Obtain The Thunder Helm. After completing all four side quests in Gerudo Town, return to Riju and speak to her to claim the Thunder Helm. She'll let Link know that she's heard of all the good he's done around Gerudo Town, finally allowing you to take the Thunder Helm.

The Yiga Clan created Thunder Helm is located in the Yiga Clan Hideout, where Link must complete a minigame hosted by a Yiga Blademaster involving defeating 9 Yiga Footsoliders in 1:00. It has the same properties as the original.

How to Get the Lightning Helm (Thunder Helm) in Tears of the Kingdom. The Lightning Helm can be obtained at the Yiga Clan Hideout, the entrance to which can be found in the Gerudo Desert, in the same location as it was in Breath of the Wild.

There are two things you need to do to initiate the "The Thunder Helm" quest. First, beat Vah Naboris. Second, talk to Riju after beating Vah Naboris. You then need to complete these four quests: 1) Tools of the Trade 2) The Mystery Polluter 3) Medicinal Molduga 4) The Search for Barta.

It has that lightning aura which will kill you if you try to approach it without the helm. Not even lightning-protection elixers or a fully upgraded Rubber Armor set will protect you against it.

The Side Quest, "The Secret Club's Secret", will begin upon his first attempt to get in. Link can learn that the password is "GSC♦" during this Side Quest by eavesdropping on a group of Gerudo in The Noble Canteen. The manager of the Club, Greta, will allow Link to enter with this password.

Speak to Sesami who is looking for his four friends: Palme, Flaxel (wearing a Hunter's Shield), Canolo, and Oliff (wearing a Fisherman's Shield). They were surrounded by Bokoblins and were unable to move. All four can be found on the elevated walkways on the cliffs surrounding the Koukot Plateau canyon.

In order to get in, Link must have all Yiga Clan Mask, Yiga Armor, and Yiga Tights in order to enter. All three can be found at locations the Yiga clan have taking including Old Man's Cabin, Akkala Ancient Tech Lab, and the base of Mount Drena.

Once you complete all four side quests, return to complete the quest and get the Thunder Helm. Note: The following quests are not requirements for this quest, albeit they originate from or are associated with Gerudo Town: The Secret Club's Secret. The Eighth Heroine and The Forgotten Sword.

Is it really worth it? Well it provides 100% lightning resistance. You'll never get hurt or struck by lightning again. So it's technically better than a fully upgraded rubber suit.

How to get full Yiga Armor? ›

To get the final piece of this set, you need to head to the Akkala Ancient Tech lab to get the Yiga Armor chest piece in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This can be found in the north east section of Deep Akkala. The lab is east of Death Mountain, north east of Akkala Highlands, and north of East Akkala Stable.

In order to complete the Side Quest, Link must Cook either a Cold Darner or a Winterwing Butterfly with Monster Parts to make a Chilly Elixir. Beedle, who can be found nearby, sells Cold Darners for 10 Rupees. Once he is in possession of a Chilly Elixir, Link can return to Guy.

Upon retrieving the Master Sword, Link can return to Aliza underneath her sacred Tree and present it as proof of his status. Recognizing the Master Sword, Aliza will accept Link as the hero she has waited for and present him with a Star Fragment.

Barta is under the skull of the Gerudo Great Skeleton, the Leviathan Bones in southwest Gerudo Desert. The quickest way to get here is to fast travel to the Hawa Koth Shrine, but be sure to select appropriate armor for either heat or cold depending on the time of day. Once you find Barta, give her the Hearty Durian.
