How to get Dragapult without trading?
Dragapult does not spawn in the wild in any location. Hence, trainers have two main ways to get it: Drakloak evolves into Dragapult at Level 60. 5-star and 6-star raids.
If you're patient and enjoy max raids, you can obtain a Dragapult through max raid battles that can be found at Axew's Eye and Rolling Field within the Wild Area. You can also encounter its earlier evolved forms, Dreepy and Drakloak, in max raid battles as well.
Although you can catch both Dreepy and Drakloak in the wild, you cannot do this with Dragapult. Instead, you will have to evolve your Drakloak to get Dragapult. Luckily, this should be a relatively easy task as you will only need to level it up to Level 60.
While Dreepy and Drakloak can be found on the Lake of Outrage, which can't be accessed until the water attachment is obtained for the Rotom bike, Dreepy can be found much earlier in a Raid Den.
Dreepy is a very picky Pokemon. It will only appear in different weather conditions, meaning the climate is going to have to be just right if you want to get your hands on one. That, in turn, makes the search for one super difficult.
Why is Dragapult illegal? Results. In the end, Dragapult was considered too difficult to handle because of its insane Speed tier, hard-to-switch-into STAB moves, and set diversity. As such, it ended up staying banned with a vote of 71-20.
This monster can be encountered in many areas throughout the Paldea region, often appearing near water. A map will be provided below to showcase every spawn point of Dreepy. The Pokémon appears at any time of the day and is 1'08" tall.

Its Steel/Ghost dual-typing has three immunities (Normal, Fighting, and Poison), and its Special Attack stat of 135 allows it to pack a good punch. It also has the signature move Make It Rain which strikes with 120 Power, and the signature ability Good as Gold which protects it from any status conditions.

What evolves into Dragapult?
Drakloak (Japanese: ドロンチ Doronch) is a dual-type Dragon/Ghost Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII. It evolves from Dreepy starting at level 50 and evolves into Dragapult starting at level 60.
