Argentavis - This flying creature is a cross between a giant eagle and a vulture. When it comes to air superiority it is hard to beat the Argentavis. While it may be slower than the Pteranodon, it surely has more power and stamina. While highly aggressive, they will take any opportunity to steal a fresh kill. As far as mounts go, there is hardly a better flying mount in the skies.

Dimorphodon- The Dimo basically looks like a mini Ptero that is covered in feathers. Similar to the Ptero, the Dimo is a peaceful creature, until it is provoked. Unlike its larger counterpart, the Dimo will turn ferocious and continue to attack until either it or its target is dead. While too small to ride, tamed Dimos make good pets. In larger groups they can harass bigger creatures and even attack riders on the backs of mounts directly. This makes them fairly handy when it comes to battling other tribes as they can kill the rider first, leaving the mount vulnerable to attack.

Meganeura- The Meganeura is simply an oversized dragonfly about the size of a human torso. This insect can primarily be found near the swamps and heavily wooded areas across the island. While they can be spotted alone or in small groups and are not dangerous, they can also travel in larger packs which give them the courage to attack larger prey. Typically though, they will wait for a free meal, be it dead or just unconscious. Similar to the Titanomyrma, the Meganeura's bite will drain any creature of its stamina, making it harder for its prey to run away or defend itself.

Onychonycteris- More commonly known as a Giant Bat, theOnychonycteris mainly lives inside the deep caves on the island. These bats are very aggressive towards any adventurers that spelunk their way down into the depths of the island. Being omnivorous they will eat vegetation growing in the caves but won't think twice to attack nearly anything besides the Titanoboas. The Onychonycteris is tamable, however, it is too small to ride and therefore is better used as a guard dog instead.

Pteranodon - The most common sight in the skies above the island, the Ptero is a skittish creature. It will fly away the instant it feels threatened. This creature mostly feeds off the fish and dead animals. While not the strongest mount to soar through the sky, it is the fastest. For those looking to get somewhere in a hurry or looking to scout an area, the Ptero is a good choice.

Quetzalcoatlus - The Quetz is easily the largest flying creature in the skies above the island. While they do appear over various parts of the island, they tend to stay near the higher peaks where their nests are. Being such a large creature one would think the Quetz would have little to fear. However, when threatened with a fight, the Quetz would rather flee. After taming one of these giant fliers it can be outfitted with a platform saddle to create a mobile base or a deadly airship. The Quetz can also be used as a long distance mass transport as it can carry more weight than most other creatures and can sustain flight for long periods of time.
