How do you complete the White-Faced Varre quest? ›

In Mohgwyn's Palace

Make your way through these ruins until you reach the Mausoleum Dynasty Midpoint Site of Grace. Activate it and rest at it to reveal a red summon sign on the ground. Choosing to activate this will allow Varre to invade your world. As this is the only way to end his quest, take him on in battle.

To gain the White mask in Elden Ring, teleport to Mohgwyn palace and roam around the bloody lake in the middle until you get invaded by a Nameless White Mask. These will keep spawning and can drop the white mask randomly.

To get to Mohgwyn Palace, there are two methods. The first one is quite long and requires you to complete the Varre Questline. The other one requires you to unlock the Mountaintop of Giants and go to the Consecrated Snowfield region.

Varré will perform a ritual that seems to cause your character great pain, then make some creepy comments and provide you with an infinitely reusable invasion item, the Bloody Finger. Speak to him again and he'll add the Pureblood Knight's Medal, the key to gaining audience with the Lord of Blood.

After three invasions Varre will give you the Lord of Blood's Favor, which needs to be soaked in maiden blood. He'll encourage you to sacrifice your own maiden, Melina, but we don't want to do that. We like Melina.

Important note: Killing Mohg, Lord of Blood locks you out of obtaining the White Mask! If you've already beaten him, you'll need to wait until NG+ to get this Helm.

Finally, to complete White Mask Varre's quest in Elden Ring, return to the palace and use his red summoning sign to invade his world and kill him. After he's been defeated, players will receive his unique weapon, Varré's Bouquet.

Does killing radahn stop any quests? ›

When you've beaten Radahn, talk to Blaidd. He'll tell you that you should meet "where the falling star bit the earth". Defeating Radahn not only progresses Ranni the Witch's questline, but also: The Blaidd Questline.

After beating Rykard players can no longer progress the Volcano Manor questline, but this implies that they did not finish the questline to reach Rykard in the first place.

Once you go and defeat Rykard and return to the manor (when everyone's left) Rya will be at her original spot in the drawing room. Speak to her then reload the area to find the Daedicar's Woe talisman where she was standing.

Here's the full line: “You are maidenless. A bit player, fully divorced from the strength of runes.” What the NPC Varré actually means, though it's not immediately clear to the player, is that you need a “Maiden” guide who will allow you to turn the runes you pick up into stat gains.

Can You Revive Varre? You can not revive Varre Elden Ring. While you can revive dead merchant NPCs Celestial Dew and atonement at the Chuch of Vows, Varre is an exception. He is permanently dead even at the church of vows, he cannot respawn.

Once you defeat Godrick and charge his Great Rune at the Divine Tower in Limgrave, you can speak with Varre again at the First Step. When speaking with Varre, choose the option, “I'll fly straight and true!” to progress Varre's story.

Make sure you're at the exact location shown above, since there are three Nameless White Masks that can invade you, and the other two don't drop any items.

The Omenkiller Robe, Long Gloves, and Boots can be acquired by killing the Omenkiller of the Perfumer's Ruins in the southwest portion of Elden Ring's Altus Plateau. On the other hand, the Omensmirk Mask is obtained by slaying the Omenkiller found outside the Lower Capital Church in Leyndell.

Mohg is weak to bleed damage so it's worth it to modify your weapon with hemorrhage effects. He also has surprisingly low poise for a late-game boss so you can use big weapons and heavy attacks to stagger him quite easily.

After leaving Millicent's world, go rest at the Drainage Channel Site of Grace again, then return to where you just fought the invaders to find Millicent. Exhaust her dialogue, rest once more, then come back a final time to find her dead. Looting her body will earn you the Unalloyed Gold Needle.

The Nazgul masks are unlocked during act 2 and beyond, they are located in the cape section of the inventory.

Can you revive the white mask? ›

Radahn is vulnerable to Frostbite and other status conditions, but especially Scarlet Rot. Rot Pots and arrows tinged with Scarlet Rot are good options if you want to take advantage of status effects for this fight. These weaknesses remain even in phase two.

Elden Ring: Gowry or Millicent

Gowry and Millicent are too closely connected NPCs that are easily missable. Gowry is found in his titular shack in eastern Caelid and enlists the player to help Millicent with her plague. Millicent can be found northeast of his location at the Church of Plague.

Ranni the Witch Method

It's not necessary to meet here here to start her questline, but it does shed light on the nature of this demigod.

Lady Tanith's consumption of Rykard seems to be an attempt at resurrecting the slain Shardbearer.

Speak to Rya After the First Volcano Manor Assassination

Rya will tell you that she hears strange sounds behind the walls sometimes. Rya will move after this and you can now find her in the room opposite the drawing room (the second door on the right).

Completing rannis questline will lock you out of other questlines, but not thw volcano manor. You can do the manor. Although fighting the boss at the end of the legicy dungeon will lock you out of finishing the volcano manor side quest.

Should you give Rya the tonic in Elden Ring? Rya explains the truth of her birth and asks you to kill her. Don't do it, and refuse to give her the tonic.

NOTE: At the end of the Patches Questline, Patches will give you Dancer's Castanets to take to Tanith. You can choose to give these to her when she is eating Rykard's corpse, although you receive no special items for doing so. At this point, you can leave Tanith to her meal or choose to put her out of her misery.

Reports have shown she will still be eating Rykard's corpse at the end of the game. Receiving the Dancer's Castanets from Patches will not continue her quest after Rykard is defeated.

How do you complete Selvus Questline? ›

When you reach the Academy Main Gate, there will be a red summoning sign for Bloody Finger Hunter Yura to the northeast. Yura will require your help to beat Bloody Finger Ravenmount Assassin and will transport you to his world. After this battle, Bloody Finger Hunter Yura will appear on the bridge near the academy.

The key ingredient of this potion is the Amber Starlight, and all players need to do to advance the quest is to bring it to Seluvis. Handing over the Amber Starlight will reward players with the Magic Scorpion Charm, a Talisman that boosts magical damage but also causes the player to take more physical damage.

You will need to immediately return to Rogier and speak to him again, and he will give you an excuse to give Ranni that can continue her questline. If he goes to sleep or dies, you will have no way to get this info, and the quest will fail.

Blaidd is the key NPC here. The wolfman will tell you he wants to inspect Nokron, the Eternal City, and that you should meet him at the underground Siofra Well. You can do this, but this step is completely skippable.

The quickest way to get the weapon is to kill Yura, who will drop the sword upon his death. You can first find him under some rubble to the south of Agheel Lake. For those who don't want to kill him in cold blood, you are also able to get the Nagakiba by completing Yura's questline.

Elden Ring Ranni ending

To activate this ending, you have to complete the Elden Ring Ranni quest (opens in new tab) and use her summon sign in the arena after you've beaten the final boss (opens in new tab).

Unfortunately, killing Bloody Finger Hunter Yura during the first meeting will not drop the Ronin armor set. In order to obtain Ronin's Set in Elden Ring, players will have to embark on a long and arduous journey, one that takes them all the way to the Mountaintops of the Giants, which is end-game territory.

Should You Serve Ranni the Witch? Ranni will ask you to serve her once you reach her. There are no negative consequences to saying yes - only boons, such as more story questlines and unique rewards. You must complete Ranni's questline to continue Fia's Questline, which unlocks yet another unique ending as well.

Who to fight after Radahn? ›

After defeating Starscourge Radahn players will find themselves in an area with Blaidd, Alexander, and others all reminiscing about the fight. Here, you can progress both Blaidd and Alexander's questlines and can get some valuable lore information from other nearby NPCs like Jerren.
